It’s Easy Loving You

Here I go again...listening to music and relating it to my own life, but when Easy by Jason Aldean came on, I couldn't help myself. I thought about my husband, our relationship, and our marriage. And how easy it has been to love him.

Almost too easy. With every laugh, I've fall for him harder and harder. As we go on adventures, create inside jokes, memorize our favorite songs, drink our favorite beers, parent our two children, dream of our perfect life, and support one another, I realize more and more that I chose the perfect person to spend the rest of my life with. Because a day without him is a day I just never want to see. He enriches my life to the fullest and I would not trade our relationship for anything in the world.

That doesn't mean at all that there hasn't been times of trial, hurt, and frustration between us and on both sides. We've certainly had our share of things to overcome. But we did - and together. I think we've always known that no matter what, we would work hard together through anything that life had to throw our way. Because even in the hard time, it was never hard to love my husband.

Because together we're better. Better parents. Better people. And better partners. I think that's what love does - it makes you better. So while every path may not be too smooth, loving my husband has definitely been easy.
