Dear Claire and Daniel,
It's your wedding day! As we sit there watching you two take your vows, I will reminisce on our journey of friendship and all that you guys have done for us in such little time. Reminded of just how important you are to us, how much we love you, and how much we respect you. You are our favorite human beings and we could never put into words the amount of love and care that we have for you, but I will thank you.
Thank you for making some of our ordinary moments extraordinary. Taking simple days into special ones. A short trip to see you, coffee date, shooting, and even just drive arounds. There has never been a dull moment with you. Thank you for always understand us. Accepting us with open arms from the very beginning - well the second time because the first I didn't get to know you with Christopher throwing sand at my back the whole time as I breastfed AnnaLynne. Thank you for sharing your families, friends, and town with us. It means the absolute world to us, knowing that there are such amazing people around you. And taking us in as you helped us search for the perfect place to plant our roots and helping Marc find a job. Thank you just for being our people. You are amazing. And if you only knew how grateful we are to have you in our lives, you would know that this letter would never end. Because there's surely a million reasons already that we could thank you for. But words will never be enough.
And we couldn't be happier for you to embark on this next stage in your life with each other. We are all so proud of you guys. Your family, friends, and especially us, of the people you guys are and the relationship that you have built. You are well-deserved of each other, and a constant inspiration to us. We cannot wait to see you standing there watching you marry the man and woman of your dreams. Picturing what is to come next, with those future children running around with ours and just the family that you two will have.
So today, our amazing friends, will be a whirlwind of pictures, flowers, dresses, emotions, and most importantly, so much joy. I hope that you guys remember to take it all in slowly and breathe. Not getting lost in the craziness of the day, but enjoying and appreciating all of these moments that you'll have for the rest of your life. Forgetting about the guests, the food, and letting your love for each other be the only thing that guides you through the day. Because everyone in attendance will be there for YOU, to share this lifetime moment with you.
