Stick on You (5 Minutes)

Materials: Stickers Instructions: 1. Sit down with your baby facing you. 2. Place a sticker on your face, identifying it "Look, it's mama's nose!" 3. Repeat by moving the sticker to a new facial feature each time.


Sound Machine (10 Minutes)

Materials: Phone or sound device

Instructions:

1. Look for some sounds on YouTube for everyday sounds, such as a dog barking, bacon cooking, door opening, or birds chirping.

2. Sit down with your baby in a quite focused place and play each sound one by one.


Looking Glass(5 Minutes)

Materials: Nonbreakable mirror Instructions: 1. Place your baby on their tummy. 2. Place the mirror to where they can see their reflection when they look down. 3. Pop your own face in as well saying, "Peek-a-boo". 4. Repeat until they lose interest.

This Little Piggy (2 Minutes)

Materials: None

Instructions:

1. Place your baby on their back with your kneeling at their feet.

2. Sing the "This Little Piggy" Song and do the corresponding movements.

"This little piggy went to the market (wiggling the big toe)

This little piggy stayed home (wiggling the second big toe)

This little piggy had roast beef (wiggling the middle toe)

This little piggy had none (wigging the ring toe)

And this little piggy cried "wee wee wee"all the way home (wiggling the pinky toe)."

Name Finder (2 Minutes)

Materials: None Instructions: 1. Lay your baby on their back. 2. Walk a few feet away and call their name. Trying a few times to get them to turn their head to look at you. 3. Then move to a different spot in the room and try calling their name again. 4. Come back to them, snuggling them and then repeat the process as they are comfortable with it.

Tickle Tickle (5 Minutes)

Materials: Textured items (ex: cotton balls, sponge or blankets) Instructions: 1. Lay your baby on their back. 2. Gently brush the objects one by one over their belly, cheek, arms, legs, cheeks, and forehead.


Ready: Sing, Stop, Go! (5 Minutes)

Materials: None

Instructions:

1. Hold your baby so that they are facing you. 2. Begin to sing your favorite kid song.

3. Then shortly after, take their hand and cover your mouth as you stop singing.

4. Remove their hand and start singing again.

5. Repeat the process until the song is done.

Crinkle Play (10 Minutes)

Materials: Tissue Paper and blanket Instructions: 1. Place tissue paper on top of the blanket. 2. Place your baby on their tummy on top of it. Letting them touch, rustle, and grasp the paper. 3. Talk to them about how their feeling, "It's so crinkly and scrunchy" or "Look how it rustles so loudly!"

Baby Picasso (2 Minutes)

Materials: Large ziploc, washable paint, paper, and tape. Instructions: 1. Cut the paper so that it fits into the bag. 2. Place large globs of different paint colors onto the paper and then seal the bag, adding the tap to the edges so that the paint doesn't spill out. 3. Tape the bag to the floor and lay your baby on their tummy in front of the bag. 4. Help them paint by moving the globs around in the bag. 5. Once they are tired or disinterested, remove the painting from the bag and lay it out flat to dry.

Old MacDonald (5 Minutes)

Materials: Animal pictures or toys Instructions: 1. Lay your baby on their back, with you kneeling at their feet. 2. Sing "Old MacDonald" and incorporate the animals into it. "Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O And on that farm he had a _____ (whatever animal you have), E-I-E-I-O With a (animal noise) here, a (animal noise) there, Here a (animal noise), there a (animal noise), everywhere a (animal noise)." Tips: Choose animals with vowel noises in their sounds and say the "E-I-E-I-O" part slow.

Firefly Jar (2 Minutes)

Materials: A clear jar and lights Instructions: 1. Place the lights into the jar and dim the lights in the house. 2. Place your baby in your lap and sing the "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" song: "Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are, Up above the world so high,

Like a diamond in the sky, Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are."
