Before starting my current walk through faith, I was always one of those people who wondered why God didn't answer my prayers.
You know the ones that I'm talking about - the ones where you're face-down into your knees on a cold floor as your tears pile into a puddle below you. The ones that you crave so badly to be answered.
But since finding my faith, I learned that God IS always answering our prayers.
It's just that sometimes the answer is, "Not yet." Or maybe even "No, not in that way."
And it hurts. Because we think that we know what is best for our lives. That we know what we want. And how we want it.
But God, with all of his amazing grace and mercy, sees the ultimate picture that we cannot even fathom. Seeing the beauty within all of the mess, hurt, pain, and fear that our stories have.
He sees the relationships that we have that will get us through the battles. He sees the growth of our faiths and reliance on Him. He sees the person that we will become. And He knows that if He were to answer all of our prayers, that we would miss out on all of the amazing lessons and blessings that He has for our lives.
